Where can I find a mini laptop for under $250.00?

I want to purchase 3 mini laptops (preferably 12 inches or less) for my children. Since I want to buy 3 of them I'd like to find a decent price on them. Also, I don't want a monthly contract w/ Verizon or AT&T for internet service. I just want the laptops themselves. Any ideas??
Guess I should've mentioned my kids are 14, 15, & 16 years old.

I’ve seen little ones at Toys R Us for kids with basic operating systems for around that price. I don’t know anything about the quality but they have 2 different ones with demos in an aisle with accessories. I think one was as low as $239. at least in my part of the country.

okay, that’s a reasonable price range, try this

its $259.99, but there great things for kids, they’ll have great fun on them, i own one for uni, and its great for everything, ive dropped it twice, and its still running great, not even a scratch

oh there older kids, i thought you may have met like 10 – 12 yr olds. Well, in that case, if they want just a computer to take to school then a netbook is fine, but if they dont want to take it to school then ask if they want a laptop or a desktop..

this is a cheap desktop pc for under $150:

but remember that doesnt have a monitor

add this monitor:

and youve got them a fully functioning computer for $234.98

and that will beet a netbook in speed any day.

so it really comes down to what is essential for them..
