Just because you can&#039;t download something doesn&#039;t mean you have a bunch of viruses. What would tell you that is if some reliable software said that in a system scan. It sounds like Verizon doesn&#039;t have the files online properly. I&#039;m sure you can just download the software off the internet from the company (if it&#039;s McAfee you can download that off their site, etc). 

What he meant was likely that software like Microsoft Office (which has a 60-day trial if you buy a new computer usally) or your anti-virus (Norton only carries a 60 or 90-day trial as well usually) has expired, and you no longer can use them without purchasing a license: which can be very expensive.

However, without knowing what exactly your issue is, we can&#039;t really help that much. It is likely though that your anti-virus and MS Office have had their trial expire- normal considering how long you&#039;ve had the laptop.</description>
