Look at the mini headphone jack and compare it to the adapter that you used.  The 6700 has 3 rings and I bet yours has two and they both will fit in the phone though.   If they are different than you do not have the right adaptor though it fits in your phone.  

I have the PPC 6700 from Sprint.  I had a treo phone and one day I saw the rings cuz I had to jiggle the plug I had bought to make it work.  Anyway, try this. hope it works.</description>

go online to verizonwireless.com they have a call/answer/&amp;send adapter so you can use your normal headphones on ur phone were&#039;d u get the adapter anyways?? radioshack?? anyways that adapter i just told u about should work i have one and have a nice pair of bose headphones on them that i bought =D</description>
