Yes, you stick it in the slot.  The phone should say &#039;formatting&quot; then you are done.  If you need further help your owners manual acutally shows you how to install it (which way to point it) however just remember - the connections point IN toward the connections on your phone, and flip it so you can read the front side of the stick (the logo name, not the back)</description>
