$29.99 Verizon Gateway mini netbook offered again

Usual stipulations apply: 2 year contract required and the cost is actually $129.99 with a $100 on-line discount.
This is the same mini notebook (Gateway LT2016u) Verizon offered back in November as part of their Black Friday deal. It's still shipping with Windows® XP Home Edition Operating System, features a 10.1” display, 1GB of RAM and 160GB of Hard Drive. It also has a built–in Web–cam and microphone and s also WiFi capable.
This model is starting to look a little old now, but many people still prefer good ole Windows XP. This model has a good track record and gets above average battery life.

Does the Verizon Mini Notebook allow an external monitor?
Posted by: | CommentsHaving the ability to hook up to a larger monitor is a useful thing for a mini-notebook like this. As you recall, the Verizon HP Mini Notebook is actually the HP Mini 1000.
The only way you can do it is with an HP Mini VGA Cable.
Well worth the cost if you like dual montiors or just a bit of a larger display to look at.
